I started a Content Aware blog titled Very Aware. It can be viewed at http://veryaware.tumblr.com . Go there to view more images and the ongoing concept. Thanks.…And Then There Were Two

I’ve been pretty productive, which really cuts down on my time to blog, and well, everything else. I’ve missed lots of things I need to be at a computer for, such as free leech on what.cd, the leak of the new Woods album, amongst other trivial bullshit.
I’ve been doing a lot of design work lately, including a collaboration with Tanner Young on an exhibition titled “A Message To Those Who Won’t Listen”, and it turned out pretty well.
I’ve begun some final work before for my next album, What Next, both graphics and music. I started using Logic 9, and it’s a brand new, exciting, experience especially after having used Fruity Loops and Acid for the past… 10 years? I really just want the album to be over though, since I’ve been working on it for two years.
Tides have begun to turn.
I’ve been wanting to make beats just for fun in apropos to nothing for a smidgen (I’m sort of wrapping up an album… slowly). After seeing Darron Ball go in on some Sweetheart drums (which are fantastic, by the way), I knew I had to dip my toe in the water.

Shanetron - Album Cover Explorations. Everything is tentative, I’m just having fun, and exploring concepts that have to do with the album
Have you ever heard a song that’s amazing except for one part, and the song would be perfect, sans that one part?
Well, Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek) just leaked a song featuring Mos Def, Jay Electronica… and J. Cole. Don’t get me wrong, J. Cole can flow, but his subject material is worthless, making J. Cole another rapper not worth his weight in CDs that his label is going to have to buy back, or another rapper whose record will release, just not ship.
I’m serious, subtracting J. Cole adds to this song.

A Barack Obama poster that I designed.
Thanks, Cage, for giving me a name to a face.
If I have to explain it, don’t bother.
Also, it’s a lot larger than this and there is considerably more detail, but I’m tired of giving away things for free.
